Day-by-Day Plan

1. 1

   Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

   Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi. Transfer to hotel in the Old Quarter. Evening walking tour of Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Welcome dinner with traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

2. 2

   Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

   Full day exploring Hanoi. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology. Afternoon cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's 36 streets. Evening Water Puppet Show.

3. 3

   Day 3: Ha Long Bay Cruise

   Morning transfer to Ha Long Bay. Board the overnight cruise. Sail through thousands of limestone karsts and islands. Visit Sung Sot Cave, kayak through lagoons, and swim at Titop Island. Sunset party on deck. Overnight on the cruise.

4. 4

   Day 4: Ha Long Bay to Hanoi

   Sunrise Tai Chi on the cruise deck. Visit a floating fishing village. Brunch on board as the cruise returns to dock. Transfer back to Hanoi. Evening free to explore or optional train street visit.

   Day 5: Hanoi to Da Nang & Hoi An

   Morning flight to Da Nang. Transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and tailor shops. Evening release of lanterns on the Thu Bon River.

   Day 6: Hoi An & Da Nang

   Morning visit to My Son Sanctuary — ancient Champa temple ruins (UNESCO). Afternoon at An Bang Beach. Visit the Marble Mountains and Dragon Bridge in Da Nang. Farewell dinner with local specialties.

7. 7

   Day 7: Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City

   Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace. Afternoon Cu Chi Tunnels tour — underground network from the Vietnam War. Evening exploring Ben Thanh Market.

8. 8

   Day 8: Departure

   Morning visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office. Last-minute shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure flight.
